§ 01 — HOW IT WORKS

From order to verified result.

A clear testing timeline

From order to test result.

  1. 01

    Place your order

Choose the analyses and animals, then pay by card or MobilePay

  2. 02

    Collect and return the samples

Use one labelled oral swab per animal and follow the return instructions

  3. 03

    Receive the test result

Typically within 7 days after the laboratory receives the sample

A negative PCR result applies to the submitted sample and does not by itself prove that the animal is free from the pathogen.

§ 01
Choose your reptile and screening

Tell us why you are testing and choose your reptile. See the routine screening option and its limitations before you order.

§ 02
Enter the animal

Add the animal’s species, name, sex and birth details during the order. Its record is created as part of ordering, and each animal is kept separate.

§ 03
Account, delivery and payment

Create an account or sign in, enter the delivery address, review the order and pay by card or MobilePay.

§ 04
We prepare and dispatch the kit

Whether testing 1 or 10 animals, you receive a single prepared kit with individually labelled tubes, sterile swabs, detailed instructions and prepaid UPS return shipping.

§ 05
Collect and return the sample

The owner or a veterinarian takes one oral swab per animal. Check that each Sample ID matches the animal, package the samples separately and return them as directed.

§ 06
Controlled laboratory result

The external veterinary laboratory performs the selected PCR investigations. Customers and veterinarians cannot enter results manually; results are registered only through the controlled ERHR workflow.

§ 07
Result and verifiable test report

After the laboratory result has been checked and registered, it appears under My Reptiles. The owner receives the result and an English PDF test report. The Sample ID can be used for public verification.
